I recently learned about a couple of wonderful, socially-conscious endeavors that Manuela Testolini Nelson has pioneered in order to do her part in improving the world. It had me a little misty-eyed.

Gamillah, Inc. is a sincere mesh of business and global values and is a concept that makes one wonder, why don’t more corporations do this? By its emphasis in incorporating beauty into this endeavor, it is an ideal social model and corporation.

In a Perfect World (IAPW), Ms. Testolini Nelson’s children’s foundation, is a national, non-profit organization that is devoted to empowering children and equipping them with the tools to eventually become benevolent, socially responsible leaders. We could certainly use more of this in the world.
